Planning your holiday travels? Google can help.

The web giant on Thursday introduced a new feature that offers customized travel recommendations in search, based on flight and hotel confirmations in your Gmail.

Say you book a hotel room in Austin. The next time you search for the Texas city on Google, “you’ll see things like flight prices, weather, and events for your dates of travel, and even restaurants near where you’re staying,” Google Travel Product Manager Berna Erol and Hotels Product Manager Emmanuel Marot explained in a blog post.

Google is also beefing up its Your Trips tool to help you keep track of your travel research. Starting in October, Your Trips will show flight prices you’re tracking, places you’ve saved, and your recent flight and hotel searches for that destination.

“That way, you can easily pick up your travel research when you come back to Google,” Erol and Marot wrote. You can opt out of these “private results” if you wish; for more information, head here.

Your Trips already shows all your past and future travel reservations from Gmail; you can access it by searching Google for “my trips” or tapping the Your Trips tab from Google Flights or Hotels on your phone.

To help you save on airfare this holiday season, Google Flights will say whether fares are more expensive or cheaper than usual when you search for flights on your phone. Google already offers this intel for flights around Thanksgiving and plans to start offering it for flights around the December holiday as well. It will also inform you if flights are “not going to drop or … likely to rise in the next five days,” Erol and Marot wrote.

Finally, to help you decide where to stay, Google is now showing hotel location scores, or reviews of the neighborhood based on information from Google Maps. The web giant gives the Carlyle Brera Hotel in Milan a “great” location score, for instance, noting it’s in an “upscale area with gourmet food at Eataly, designer fashion stores & international fine dining.”
